ps: If the eyes are the windows to the soul, then you’re looking at a noble and beautiful soul, named Dale (who loves iced tea with sweetened condensed milk just as my two friends from Estonia did).
number 2is reason why i need a good bokeh lens...did you know there is good and bad bokeh??? a good bokeh would not distcract a picture while a bad one distacts a lot... the way i see it, a good boleh looks somewhat natural to the sight...
my favourite shot would be number 4. the tatoo and the pose... could that dude be japanese??? little boy with punk hairdo, cute
ps-i love your D70s too

Mr Azli, memang terbukti gambar-gambar yg dihasilkan menerusi D70s begitu menakjubkan. Paling suka gambar cucu sandar kepala di bahu nenek tu :: Saya dah upload gambar2 terbaru, silalah jenguk fp saya dan beri sedikit pandangan / komen ye
thanks for your comments... kesian my mobile phone kualitinya kureng
wonder why number 5 isnt bokeh??? number 5 is always personal to you right???
number 12, obviously i made a mistake with th exposure+iso, but while i was 'chimping' i kind of liked it... thats a shot where the sons' eye masuk pasir and the mom is comforting him... kind of like a havenly mood to it... some mistakes are good... heheh...

clicking almost 5 times..
but the pics keep in red cross...
will be back soon!
nn too bz? Find it out at http://e-nadd.fotopages.com
Yup...I Iike the nenek and cucu photo the most...makes me miss all my neneks whom are no longer in this world... May their souls rest in peace....amin...
Image 1 : Lovely but I wish the background is All in Blue Colour would be nice.
Image 2 : Great and Perfect Timing ....I prefer to crop out that 10 % of Upper Portion.
Image 3 and 4 and 6 and 7 and 9.... .
Image 5 : 50mm 1.8 Handheld...looks a bit shaky...is it ? .
Image 8 : The background is red/yellow/blue nice but that person ( though you managed to make it blur....but still distracting to me ).
Good to see you back. I thought you've told me that your posting after that Estonia guys would be in black and white and yet I've seen nine photos full with colors whilst only one in b&w hence the disappoinment in me.
Anyhow, I fancy #7 and #6 while the big portrait will be my personal favorite.
I love the way you've portraited that guy in B&W. The details are marvelous.
nice entry...great photos...loved the first picture the most and I think you're also great with portraits...you have a way of capturing the emotions...
Hmm... i'm back!
As usual, u had a great collection n arrangement.
My fav goes to #7. The lil boy is so cute with the punk hair style, orange/black bagpack, jeans n white/red shirt. The colors are well blended with the green bckground... Anak sapa tu?
The big pic.. no doubt! u had his soul!
Being a huge fan of potraiture ... that huge picture is simply superb ... should sell it back to the tuan punya badan with a prime price ... huhuhuhu ....
stunning and magzaine quality as always...so mr informal coach, how do you adjust contrast? i'm using a eos 350d. and would you recommend a lenshood for someone who likes to zoom like me. my zooming pictures dont seem that great compared to the non-zoom ones. thanks
re: bro azli, some of the pics i auto enhanced it by using picture project software. i have no idea how & when to adjust contrast & brigtness etc.. help is needed
ive tried the lambung anak shot, but cant work... i guess the setting is still not right... did u use any of the auto settings for that shot or did you go into creative manual mode??? how much exposure time did you use??? how sensitive did you set the sensor? how big was the aperture?
Izhal,
I should have shot it with my 50mm but I was too lazy to change lens so I shot it with aparture priority mode coz I want the bokeh of a 2.8. The shutter speed for this was 1/500 (determined by the camera). Focus on the father's face coz it would be the same distance from the camera as the baby. Took 2 shots coz the first time the baby won't look at the camera. From the baby's line of sight, you can see that he was looking to my right which is where his mom was. Should have made her stand behind me.

thanks for the reply you lazy person
yeah the bokeh is nice... you didnt change the lens to a 50mm? what were u using than? a 200mm??? im just guessing here because only a long lens shooting ppl close like that would give that2.8 bokeh look??? no???
ps-im also lazy at changing lenses even though i have only 2... thats why i preser my good old MUPA heheh...
Another superb image...
Bros Azli..just to ask you which software you used for RAW conversion programme....pictureproject or Nikon Capture 4 or PS CS or others...
Yesterday night I download 30 days trial software for Capture 4....try it here and there...
p/s lama lagi nampaknya nak posting photo using RAW...
Don't mess with the kid with a mohawk, number 7 rocks.
Most of people admire your work, and so do I.
Keep shooting, so I have something nice to look at in this boring Nebraska.

the big picture of dale works very well for me. the depth of field is just nice to accentuate just his face. not too sure if it'll look just as nice in color, but it sure looks good in black and white.
as for the others, i think a landscape orientation would probably work better for number six and seven. perhaps number nine too. i'm quite curious to know where the subject came from, is heading to or looking at what. colors are quite natural.
hi azli! so you've updated aye? again, lively set of shots you have here that pic of the grandma and cucu (?) dia is so endering reminds me of my dearest atuk mak kat msia ..can't wait to go back home! maybe if i spot you around KLCC, i'll pretend to be a foreigner so that you can take pictures of me then! boley ke? hehehe

Salaams bro. How are you? It's been a while since you last updated your page. Are you busy or out of the country as you love travelling...Anyway, take care...
As suggest by most of the sifu from FDMC (Syahrin, Siful, Boe etc) on that night and as I planning also not just shot the fireworks but with the landscape of Putrajaya, I set at infiniti, f/11, 3 sec, ISO 200 but my burst still not good. I summit to fotowarung my photo n got some comment from sifu there.
p/s 1 : Just nak check withu u, as I'm planning to shot the reflection of Petronas Tower at other glass building sround it (maybe just part of the top tower) which building around KLCC that I can get/give a good result (2 option - morning time n afternoon time).
p/s 2 : I like your Twin tower sround by the cloud at your flickr n that way the above ideas come out.
