Azli .. I've got to concur with Marcia ... It could be my monitor .. I don't know ... the only one that I really feel the color is number 6 .. maybe you've already decreased the jpeg quality upon uploading ... Apart all that .. this entry is one hell of an effort .. 2 thumbs up
hahaha... maybe dah 'terbiase' tgk entries fotopagers lain yg terlalu colorful sampai sakit bijik mata.... ur one lain dr yg lain........ itu yg sooooo special bout u...
Gemilang dengan warna-warni... u really brought those colours to life.
Superb as usual.. My fav. would be no# 8.. u managed to shoot the subject point-blank!

My dear fp friend!
I really thank you for your last comments in my FP. They were very interesting, and I would be very happy to give you answer for each comment. Unfortunatelly, by now, my laptop has a very serious problem, the keyboard has broken down. Could yo imagine this?? I can't use the "n" and the space key! I hope, I can solve the problem as soon as it is possible, but as you know, it will be very expansive!
By now I'm using a friend's desktop computer! so I hope I 'm back in maybe 15 or 20 days!
Anyway, I didn't want to lose contact with you!
Greetings! and congratulations for this last entry, I sepecially enjoyed #4, 5,6,7,8 and 9!! Very well done!!
it is really nice...great image u have here...great eye that u have..brings us a great images...

Utterly colourful indeed! I like the 5th and 7th pic most.. Something I noticed about the 1st compilated picture - the image on the top left has a little noise in it(or is it the make-up of the girl or can it be my starry eyes ?) compared to the rest of them in it. But nevertherless, I like the colours present on it. Very striking and well-flushed.. I like! ps: Yeah for my entry on the Babe, Girls & Chicks, I did push up the contrast! It's very high in contrast.. I got the idea of it when I was at the hair salon.. The posters are of high contrast and it was very eye-catching. But I didn't manage to do likewise.
memang meriah & so colourful!! i love pic no. 9.. eye contact make a different.. if you can get closer to the girl who in focus it must be great.. i guess..
p/s congrats again.. you have so many comments in each entry..
alaa i was supposed to go with my lecturer but something came up. damn, should've just went, hehe. anyway, i love the last photo. the colours, the DOF and how she stands out from everybody, though she looks kinda weird..hehehh
i like picture number 5 very much. the colors are very pretty in all the pictures. what is the event about and what are the dresses that they wear traditional? anyway... great job. i really admire your work

just wanna to asak.. nie gune white balance aper.?? sbb habis semua cahaya kuning dimatikn..hehehhe
Sorry lambat buka your FP...yes ....People and Colours...and since it is very simple, to comment it is very difficult. Nice caption.
I love Image 1 set, Image 5 and 6 .
Image 7....perhaps tight cropping will add more Impact.
ps : I went to Laman 2006....so many things that I end-up with confusion on what to take ...anyhow I hope I can choose few... Have a nice weekend
the dancers are chubby (re pic 2 and pic 9). Makan sedap kot dancer2 TDC skrang.. i like your najib shot.. but i wonder if he's reading pak lah text anyway.. the dancer in pic no 5 look alike christine hakim (very famous indonesian actress)
btw, pic no 7 look freeze eventhough more important to capture the dance movement..
sungguh ceria entry ini!
i used to cover citrawarna's during my working time with virtual malaysia dulu...every year, every moments...all i can say thats citrawarna adalah sbuah acara yang penuh gilang gemilang dan warna warni, thats for sure. i've viewed all ur photos...tak tahu samada u ada shoot atau simpan acara pembukaan dan penutup..begitu juga dengan acara persembahan..kalau ada siarkan sekali..sebab acara2 ini adalah intipati citrawarna..
about ur pics...its still nice cuma kebanyakan angle u terutama on single subject, u banyak menggunakan standard level or angles, maksudnya u ambil gambar sambil berdiri...ianya akan lebih cantik, kalau u boleh shoot from the low angle or a high angle and a bit close up...u dah ada pass, so u boleh mengekstreminasi pass yang diberi hingga ke tahap maksima! jangan takut untuk pergi dekat-dekat and shoot for a few close up pics on their accessories...mungkin perhiasan kepala, tangan dan sebagainya...
since i pun dah quit from virtual malaysia (full time freelance right now), tahun ni i sambut citrawarna di angkasapuri RTM dengan job bersama siti nurhaliza untuk program zoom in ...(check out my new entry..)
so itulah sedikit sebanyak komen i...take care kay...

when did this update happen??? you know what, even najib looks colorful... wonder why he didnt wear his baju melayu merah menyala...
u know i like number 5... its not bcause of the lady... its because of the 3D effect the colorful bokeh gives... number 7 is excellent too

Hey Azli I wanted to let you know that it has been a real pleasure hanging out with you! Thanks for sharing your time and your love of life with me! I really enjoyed looking at your photos yesterday you do amazing work. I ran into a few friends of mine that I meet in Singapore @ the hostel and they talked me into heading North with them. All part of the life of a Nomad I guess? Sorry I did not have more time in KL. Best of luck with everything that you do. I look forward to seeing your work in the future. Keep on sharing and bringing color to the world! Your friend in travels! -Johnny Nomad

Azli...I think most of us become "ketagih" photographers begin with the fascination of capturing slices of 'colour', 'light' and 'time' with our mind's eye. We start to see the world around us in images that say more than we can write with the words.
memang saya ada pergi masa tu,...yg saya jumpa shahrul nizam jeee,.....tapi bila tanya ,...dia cakap kawan2 semua sebelah kiri pentas mengadap bngunan SAS,......masa pergi tu guna pas wartawan,...sebab ada member bahagian tourism,....hehehehehh,....nak gak masuk gambaq citrawarna,..tapi edisi taman negara belum habis,.....bestkan masa kat sana,.....penuh kecerian dan warna-warni,.....itulah budaya masyarakat malaysia,....rasa bangga sangat,....pada masa tuuu,.....
erm 4 tahun dah join citrawrna dari yg 1st sampai ler yg ke-4.. lepas tu dah tak join dahh.. masa tu ngan negeri selangor.. huhuh kenangan sungguh.. tapi rasa tak best plak tahun ni tak dpt gi tengok citrawarna.. tapi kira ok la dpt tengok diorang punya latihan kat sebelah istana budaya tuuuuuu...
as'kum tumpang lalu.can i pass away.i dun know whether it is becouse of my screen colour adjustment or the pics were a bit dark and not that colourful to represent the 'meriahness' of the event.i can't feel the meriahness with these pictures.just my opinion.and the last pic really give me the creeps.hehe.amponnn!
thankz fer ur wise words. i noe digital gives instant happiness! & i am gonna save enough $ 2 get myself one tat cud last. since im a student tat is gonna take a while. a very long while. haha. a digital is in my distant future till then i juz hav 2 'jeling' everitime i see sumone with a digi SLR cam. gerammmmm. haha. thankz once again. brilliant is wat u r. keep ur lenses working overtime!! regards, hannah.
