Dear all,
As I have written before, I'm just a simple man who takes simple pictures... Some of those pictures represent visual representations of my most treasured memories...
"Touching lives through photography" is one of the main reasons I have a fotopage. Have I??.. I donno...
Thank you so much again for visiting/commenting in the spirit of idea sharing where there is no right or wrong answer...
Have a great week and a greater week ahead.. Keep on shooting!!
Best regards,
Azli Jamil
ps: As usual, all shots were taken around KLCC. All were shot at 200mm f2.8 with varying shutter speeds.
Great, really great shots! Specially # ' s 1, 3 and 7. You have such a feeling and sensibility for compose the pictures! thanks for the comments in my fpage! I hope people care about children with our topics... lets see what brings the next week! Greetings from Mexico!
p.s. Again and since a good friend does, I want to suggest you to avoid the backs in your photos, (It's what my boss allways tell me in my journal!) specially in # 6. I missed the head of the boy in the background in picture #2.
Creative posting style! The lansdscape and potrait photos are well arranged!
Like #8 most! Brotherly fortitude shown..
I think people with parentally sentiment touched through it!
dude... i can see u love to shoot people around KLCC... keep up ur gud werk.
btw.. thanks for dropping by... well for ur question... i shoot it in raw format, all in 400 ISO... soft? i think it was because of the raw format.. i do not put so much editing except for adjusting the level slider...
pic no 1 mmg best..ada facial expression..budak tue gelak..bokeh dia pon best..but no wonder..u pakai f2.8 pic no 2 kalau splach dia nampak lagi byk or full sure lagi best pic no 3 sempoi..hehe pic no 6 kalau bagi object yang budak tue tgk nampak byk sikit lagi best rasanya
pic no 9 suka sebab belakang dia gelap cam ada tone..tapi object budak3 tue ada cahaya..best pic no 8 fav saya aa
rasa cam best jea lens nie..kalau minolta saya nak pinjam..seb baik nikon..ekke
krkrkrkr iasehhh 2.8.. idaman kalbu.. gambo budak baju belang tu,,.. fav saya.. yg lain pun best gak .. tapi yg budak 2org baju belang merah paling suka.
goodness the "costume-play" (the last pic) has arrived in KL i see. i don't really think it's such a good culture to follow...black clothing, black bags, black lipstick. they look like zombies from comic books. (enuff of copying japanese, please!!!)
all pics are awesome but i think the pic of the guy who looks as if he's about to jump off the bridge is the best
I really like the second pics...I really wannt to take that kind of shot...but...it is not really distinct in my camera....i like the red and white kiddy too....I like all...I like the face.....
I dont have good recent pics...If i have I will update......i know u miss mine...hehehehe

i wish i have the lens... heheee...
once again.. love the emotions..
but why always klcc?? hehee..
i've shot some of 'your' klcc... in my recent previous posts.. mind to take a look
Baju belang merah nak sama style dengan baju oren hijau utk entry lepas, personally I like belang merah more... saya cuba pi taman utk tangkap gambar org mcm bro azli buat tapi susah woo... segan betul nak eye contact dengan org nih...
Love them all Azli.. great colors.. good expressions captured. Love the #8 the most.. the two boys with red n white stripe shirts. Like the #6 as well.. i somehow love pictures from peoples back.. guessing how their would be probably fun for me.. he heh. The way i see it.. that 2.8 barrel really made u somewhat different. If only u had that during the Angkor Wat visit.
those 3 last pictures, catchy!!.. 3rd pic : first time in KL?? .... 2nd : ni mesti bdk2 ngh tention xdpt mandi kot kat situ, mak bapak xkasik.. hehehe.. last pic : uikss kat Mesia dah ade ek bebudak pakai baju camni?? dah mcm jepun la plak..
its been quite sometimes since the last time we had our coffee at starbucks... maybe next week i would have settle down a bit... hehehe.. hope to see ya...
p/s: the last picture reminds me of my harajuku shots.... hahahahha
now i see what you mean when you say that number 7 gives you a good looking background i still dont like the last picture heheh... i still like number 8 so much... i still think you're a self tought genius i'm still busy... i still rock...
Beautiful candids Azli.. I can hear the laughter from miles ! I especially love the young boy on the metal post with the building in the background.. beautiful shot !

hye there bro..
thanx 4 ur honest words yah!
ur portrait shot sumer bes2..
luv #7 n #8..
#8 composition dia bes..

bleh mintak tips tak 4 shooting candid portrait camni?
waaaaaa.. finally i see MALAYSIANS! hehe.. bila la bleh beli telephoto ni.. baru la tak segan sangat nak gi menembak sama2.. skang ni saiz kamera saya sama kecik mcm tuan dia.. segan nak join bro..
hey... dah berape tahun kebelangan ni i ikut dia ke MCOBA dinner & concert tau tak? Nape kite tak jumpe plak masa tu ek? hahahahahahahahaha maklumla.. Isham mana ade kwn perempuan lain lagi nak bawak.. hahahahaa...
my fav has to be the second last photo. theres something abt it. unity? sense of brotherhood? something la, but it sure caught my eyes.
nice to meet you in person, mr azli. it was a pleasure, although we only had a few short conversations. one was about tacky buildings
as usual nice expression u captured...but do you crop much? my favourite is the two brothers in red stripes , the subject just pop out of the blue background on a nice point+perspective. what's the kids from the last picture doing?
ps-sorry for not browsing your fp for a while...kinda lost myself lately...
::#7:: great definition between man and manmade
::#8:: definitely express the 'see through moment' when we dont even know what they think exactly, between what they see in front of their naked eyes or something beyond..then it's gonna be interesting to reveal what's in their mind
::#9:: dis one is my favourite..it look commercial.we can see clearly the positive embosed from the negative backdrop.
too much words..sorry yea good luck and keep updating!

Bro Azli...
Last Image ( no.9 )...tu bebudak sini atau Tourist ?...I love the way they dressed.
After studying you images several times : It is still the Best to me. .
Well my dear friend, here I am again! Thanks for your recent comments in my FP!
I´ve added two new shots.
Here we also use the free wifi in starbucks,(but is a little expanisve) anyway those pict´s are in my FP beacause I went by my journal to the inaguration party as photographer. There we became friends so I´ll be making a photo exposition in an Strabucks soon! Do you suggest any of the topics you´ve seen in my FP?? I´m really exited.
In other topics, as you said -persons have to do many dangerous jobs to take food to their families, and to afford education is very expensive even when government gives free studies.
Like in many other countries here we have two Mexico´s: the poor and the rich, our work as photojournalists gives the chance to know both sides, so we can have a panoramic view of reality. Is so sad for me to take shots from poor people in the morning and then go to parties with rich people by night. Any way I feel a big compromise with poor people, I work as journalist because I don´t want people to forget the other Mexico, the other side of the coin. I just can say that I love my country and its contrast!
hi Brother Azli! Very nice meeting u yesterday.. i'm looking forward for this sunday.. Tak sabar nak tgk gambar2 semalam.. sure cun melecun punyer lah.. i was so touched everytime i looked at ur fp.. dont know why.. but yes.. u've touched lives thru ur magic hands of photography!
